Finished the novel. Made me cry like a bitch. There is so much to unpack in this story that i dont think typing is enough. I LOVE THIS. This is one of the reasons why i am even alive rn. I have never felt more seen and related with kim dokja than anybody else (besides chu wanning ofc). He is the embodiment of who I am as a person, like he's my kinnie it's so fucking shocking how I can relate so much. The story is incredible. Tbfh I started bc of many joongdok i see on my twt, but stayed for the plot and mostly bc of dokja. I would recommend this in a heartbeat for everyone, but it does take time in finishing it if all u want is the romance or shipping aspect between kdj and yjh since it's focused on plot and action. I, for one, managed to finish this in less than a month (i remember it was on the road to christmas break) WHILE preparing for exams bc im just built like that and I was immersed in the world building which was amazing by the way! It was a rollercoaster, but i wouldnt have it in any other way. I love every character until now. Even if it's been a couple of years since I've finished it, best believe im still reading joongdok fanfics until now. I love the popularity its been getting, bc i need everyone to reach the epilogue and LITERALLY cry with me every damn time its mentioned. This is a gem, a masterpiece, a piece of my existence, a place in my heart, and chapter in my life i will always keep bookmarked. I love it. ALSO, THERE'S FINALLY A FUCKING ENG PHYSICAL BOOK!!!

Chap. 17 as of july 21, 2023 I see the hype and im getting it. We need more isekai male leads tbH like the only ones I know besides this is the famous trash count one. There NEEDS to be more gay isekai or historical. Its so fucking funny, I love how the ml literally did not read the novel and is just going forward in the most linear way possible. I also LOVE how he got the second lead though like the blonde hair and being the HOLY PRIEST? It's cliche and I love it. Looking forward for more.

There is something about supernatural stuff done right that just hits. It took some time for me to end this a couple of times since the first 30 chapters were kind of slow. But around 40+ chaps when the plot started progressing, i've been hooked since. I love hanna. She reminds me of chu wanning, in a way that we just know she would do anything for saho. I think junoo(?)'s story could've been more in depth, it felt like he was just there bc of hanna and the past life. What fucking got me was definitely peace and no. 3 yo like that shit fuCKING HITS. and when hanna found the contract? I just know the whole community who read that chapter KNEW she would sign it. Also mika??? What happened to her was so sad like they lost their memories of mika and 313? I think that is just absurd, like that trope is one of the things I disliked cause uGH it hurts. Collectively, I loved it. It's so good. I just think there should be more fluff moments of the main couple after all the shit that went down bc i honestly think we DESERVE it.

This author never fails to make good art tbh. This might be the best I've read from them. It's just good vibes and a light read. And PLEASE, the way theo is making everyone want him is so relatable like he's way fine than seth and im sure seth would agree with me. I love how the author always incorporates diverse characters in their story ugH. Also, I also appreciate how it isn't that omegaverse-centered than most stories. I mean it's what drove the plot but it's moreso the child and the chemistry that's making me read it. The spirits are so beautiful too like wtF everything in this is so scrumptious and pretty.

Wow. It's been a while that I've read something so dark. It's a beautiful and painful story. It's realistic and doesn't romanticize human trafficking and sexual abuse. The amount of shit that happened to geom is making me angry sm like what did he deserve for that to happen to him? He just wanted a normal life. His friendship with wooyeon and the girl was so bittersweet it made me realize it's not even about wooyeon anymore but moreso the past that he wanted to get back to. Those little quotes that I fucking read from wooyeon about geom like "I will give you all the happiness and love I can, with no desire of anything else" and geom's speech towards yeonha (? Gurl idk) "the happiness i felt with you encompassed the 20 years of my life, i survived bc of you" and something like that made me bawl like pLEASE LET THE TRIO GET BACK TOGETHER. Also, the art is immaculate. Everything is so beautiful despite the triggering scene. Ik some scenes were kind of glamorized, like the part where geom had a corset and mask on like an angel. But damn it's so pretty. Ik it's defi itely not for everybody. But i will be thinking about this alot. I SOOOO want geom's freedom already like im tired of all these rape shit.

Can I just say that I have not read something this amazing in a while? The plot is so detailed, it keeps you wanting more. It builds itself in a good pace and UGH the characters??? THE SLOW BURN. The way they have not even fucked yet and i just KNOW it would take so much more shit for that to even happen. ALSO, Alto right from the start reminded me so much of mo ran 2.0 and that increased even more with him being viewed as a dog. I love it.

What the fuck was that?? Bro the way this story got me feeling 174738 emotions at the same time oh MY GOD. It's been awhile that I have read isekai, so i was picky on what to read. I tries starting this before when it wasn't completed yet but it didn't catch my vibe. Now that it's over, im glad I didn't read it before its done. Lemme just say the way these MEN just keeps setting me off what the fuck hanejwjehe except ahnaki tho that man is THE MAN for eris. BRO I JUST CANT GET OVER THE FACT HOW THE TURNAROUND OF THE 3 MEN AT THE END WAS SO ODD LIKE WYM ALEC SUDDENLY HAD FEELINGS FOR ERIS AFTER THAT REVELATION OF HER BEING DEAD LIKE?? THIS MAN IS SO FUCKING WISHY WASHY HE BARELY EVEN GLANCED AT HER !!!!! AND HUBRIS?? THE WAY I GOT SHOOKT ON HIM TURNING AGAINST HER BC HE PLANNED TO BE WITH HER IN THE NEXT LIFE LIKE SIR THAT IS UR HALF SIBLING !!!!! STEPSIBLINGS ARE BAD, BUT HAVING FEELINGS WITH UR OWN BLOOD!!!! SIR U R FUCKED UP. AND KAZAAR?? IDK WHAT HE'S EVEN DOINF THERE TBH. WHEN THE 3 MEN WERE SAT ON THE TABLE PLANNING ON REVIVING ERIS INSTEAD OF DOING SHIT TO HELENA I KNEW MEN AINT SHIT IN THIS STORY. OVERALL ITS 10/10, GOT DRAG FOR TOO LONG LIKE BITCH JUST LET HER DIE ALREADY GODDAMN.

Beautiful beautiful art. Fits the theme tbh and i love how the smut scenes uGH it's not a vampire story without seductiveness and sex!!! Talking about endless lives, I do think the reason they became immortal would relate to the blind couple at the end, tho im not entirely sure. But i sure love their love, having endured so many lives. How lonely it must have been for a vampire to live alone.
