Read this a few years ago. Even now, I still kind of remember the plot, which doesn’t usually happen unless the story really grabs my interest (especially with all these typical stories full of overused tropes). From what I remember, this one had a sort of melancholic feel to it. Don’t think I’d want to read it again, though.

Got damn that was so heartrending omg. The amount of tears I shed for this manwha. What a rollercoaster of emotion. This is probs the second time I’ve felt this way about a manga. Jihyun that guy. I felt real bad for him, yes. Especially so after he was jailed for a murder that he didn’t commit and nobody believed him. But he needs to take responsibility for his actions. The way he was so... desperate? Attached? To choowa (freck how come I forgot the ml’s name already???) and his facial expression of hurt and all that shit. Lawd man I really felt bad for the guy. I kinda just wanted him to be happy. But friend. How did you expect everything to work out if you didn’t change your ways? What you feel for him? Ofc, there’s some love in there, but this is called obsession. You can’t keep hurting him, isolating him, and doing bad shet to the ppl who approach him, and expect that everything will always turn out fine. He’s human too, he’s not always gonna forgive you. You can’t just take advantage of his kindness like that. And then you go ahead and rape him? Nah man that’s not how we do things around here. As much as I’d like to see a scenario where the two of you are happy together, if you started going out, there wouldn’t be a happy ending. That’s just a toxic and unhealthy relationship. Neither of you would be happy. He’d be scared of your ticking time bomb personality, anxious about when you’d next explode. You’d be forever displeased about him being close to anyone other than you, or him showing even the slightest sign of not paying attention to you. That’s not good for any of you bro. You had to have realized what you were doing wrong sooner or later. I wish jinhyun can find happiness, even after all he did. Hopefully he can find someone who loves him just as much as he loves them, and they can have a healthy relationship, with him turning over a new leaf. Thankfully, after he had that final talk with chiwoo, he finally realized his mistakes and repented. Truly heartrending, that last farewell was. But please, be happy. Hopefully you’ll be able to forget about our dearest chiwoo and move on. There’s just no way you two could be together after what you did. Still honestly, I wouldn’t have been happy either if jihyun got away scot free after what he did. What’s happening to him is redemption. I still hope he can be happy though. Just not with chiwoo. Anyways, I, glad kihwon (freck I forgot his name too lmaoo) was there for chiwoo, and helped him heal. He’s a better fit for our little Cinnabon. I’m just glad that chiwoo was also finally able to move on, even a little, and not have to live in the past, because of his trauma from jihyun. I just want everyone to be happy man T_T anyways. Masterpiece of a story. 100/10. Kept me hooked from start to finish. Now time to read part 2

I don’t wanna hv to wait for yet another manga to update and read ch. by ch. That way, it’s easier to drop till further notice. This hilarious and sexy manga will be put on hold for the time being. On another note, I’m so damn happy hyun chose ivan and decided to get over Alex. And he even cut it off cleanly by being honest and not being wishy washy for too long. I’m also really happy he realized Alek was kinda playing him while Ivan took care of him and genuinely loved him n wanted a real relationship. Beautiful. Ofc I want Alek to find happiness too to heal his heart, but it can’t be with our cinnabun hyun. On second note: According to comments, ch.s after I stopped reading: excUSE ME?! ALEC WAS A BITCHASS AND DID WHAT?! IMPRINTED BABY HYUN?! BITCH YOU DARED?! And now I’m hearing there’s gonna be a 3p because of his dick move? Done only cuz he was fkin jealous?! Alec, I know u have a dark past, but that doESNT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO BE A FRIGGIN ASSWIPE AND PUT OTHER PPL IN PAIN! NOOOOO HOLI CRAP WHY U GOTTA PUT A FRECKIN CLIFFHANGER RIGHT AFTER A PLOT TWIST?!?! Months later: gave it a 2-3 month break so I wouldn’t have to deal with more freckin cliff-hangers, but now I don’t remember where I left off lmaooo so amma have to just re-read More months later: have re-read and stopped at the end of season 1. I liked the first cpl but I’m not really all that interested in the 2nd one. I was curious enough to have like a few chapters about them or smn since I kinda wondered at their relationship and how they met, but that’s it. Not enough to completely lose focus of the 1st cpl and focus almost solely on them (the 2nd cpl). Plus, I’m seeing all those comments about how toxic big brother (2nd cpl’s seme) is to his poor uke (forgot both their names lol). Plus uke just takes it for a long time and seme sees nothing wrong with what he’s doing, treating ppl like shit and all. I didn’t come here to read a manwha with toxic relationships and asshole semes.
