This manga is dropped, but comments say it’s really good so imma consider reading it later. Edit (few months later): Wow. This was truly amazing. It has so much potential. I’m surprised something like this is so underrated.. It grabbed me from the beginning and just kept dragging me into the story to the very end. It really is a pity that it was dropped, even though it was just getting started... hopefully one day the mangaka decides to pick this back up; ‘twas truly a one-of-a-kind manga.
Mou Ichido, Nando Demo
That was simply beautiful.
Sotsugyousei
Gosh that was breathtakingly beautiful... I would love to find a love where me and my person are as close as these two protagonists; the fact that they talk out their problems before it escalates too far, the fact that they can show their weaknesses to each other, the fact that they trust each other, communicate and compromise, the fact that they argue but can still make up and show that they truly love each other, the fact that no matter what, they stick together. Truly, an ideal relationship. This manga shows how love has its ups and downs, that a relationship is not all sprinkled and daisies. There are also difficult moments involved. The important thing is being able to trust each other and pull through whatever the problem together. Truly a magnificent piece.
Hitotsu Shikanai Mono
It was a lil bit messed up, but I like that it was a bit realistic and had a lesson in the end. I love the fact that the seme was able to change the uke for the better, and that they had such a healthy relationship from the start (like being friends first and getting to know each other). The seme is amazing for helping kabuki find himself and leaving that dangerous lifestyle. The fact that husbando-san helped uke-san happier than he’s ever been is just one of the things that really makes this manga awesome. (Also. Everything was consensual. What more could you ask for?)
Haru ga kita
Shet that was so sad omg.... uke’s past was really messed up and heartrending.. I’m just happy he found someone that genuinely loves him, and that he has people who always protect him cuz dang. What a rough life he’s had. But well, I’m glad the ending turned out alright.
Reimei No Arcana
Read this like 4 years ago. I mothafudgin LOVED it, but it was so much angst while reading that I don’t think my kokoro can take it if I were to re-read it. It will forever have a special place in my heart tho. This was one of the few manga that I shed so many tears for. My gosh. It was heartrending, but well worth the read.
Hollow Lovers
I FRECKIN GIVE THIS 1 MILLION STARS This was so awesome omg it’s now the top of my list. Both mcs were amazing. This story was very realistic, which added a nice touch to the drama and events taking place. I love the fact that the relationship progressed so naturally, from being just a bit distant to being so close, making each other a better person, growing closer even through conflicts, just overall being so dedicated to each other. I truly love how their relationship was portrayed. Unlike almost every yaoi ever, neither the uke nor seme was forced into anything. Everything was consensual. If any problems arose, they went through it together. They solved misunderstandings with conversation. They were possessive of each other, but also wished the best for each other. Truly an ideal relationship. I didn’t like that the uke moved out right as the seme finally confessed his feelings tho. That was very selfish of him, without even thinking how the seme would feel. He redeemed himself after that tho, which I liked, and stayed by the seme’s side, supporting him. He’d do anything for the seme, even going as far as tarnishing his own name and dignity, if it was for the happiness of the seme. The same is true for seme-san. Gosh, I like him. To be willing to throw away everything, especially a company that was your dream and that you’ve built with your own hands, just so you could be with your partner. Seme-san, a man committed to his uke, even to the point of being willing to abandon everything for him. Get you a man like that. One thing that was realistic, and also something I very much like about this piece, is the fact that the uke struggled so much with his sexuality. Unlike other manga that portrays it as such an easy thing to get over, this one did a fine job portraying uke’s progression through denial to complete acceptance of his sexuality and ability to be with and love a man (I could go on about this but then it’d turn into an essay). Overall, this was a very exemplar story, and I wouldn’t mind, or actually, I’d love it if it could continue. Great job to the author for bringing out such an excellent piece.
Princess’s Happily-ever-after Marriage
Oml i freckin LOVE this!!! The female lead is so cool and strong~ she’s not the strongest, but she is steadily improving. I love that fact, that shes not over the top OP and still has room for improvement. I also love the fact that her husband is so strong and handsome, no one can go against him in strength or power (in terms of sociostatus). And best of all, THEY ARE SO FLIPPIN CUTE TOGETHER!!! LIKE WHAT?!!? OMG. I cant get enough of them. Im looking forward to them falling more in love with each other, and making all who oppose and look down on them eat dirt.
