Caste Heaven

Ongoing | Ogawa Chise | 2014 released

Okay, this one is definitely a precious piece. At the same time that it made me pass a fucking hatred, made me wish it would end soon, when it was actually over.. I WANTED MORE AAAAAAA But, like, for the sake of history I think it's really a plot that goes from heaven to hell in a matter of seconds (although most of the time it's just in hell). And I also feel that with each new chapter, the story expands more and more, one plot joins the other, which joins the other, but in any case always shit at the end. I also don't know if the author wants to convey an idea of "seme has always loved uke all this time wow plotwist", because there are many scenes at the beginning and in some flashbacks that really understand this (even if the seme then acts like way that destroys all of that in the end)(???) The fact that the story always ends in something terrible, holds you and makes you want to read more to see if who knows the end will be happy, and in the end you will be disappointed again BECAUSE IS ALWAYS SHIT. Okay, even if it seems to be fucked up, I feel that this is also very good, you get stuck in the story and, oh my god, just reading to understand man.. Well, anyway, I hope for more

Complete | Harada | 2015 released

Wow, I was really scared of Harada fucking everything in the end, luckily, it didn't happen You know, this ending was surprisingly much better than I expected, Harada can make many mistakes, but she always, always, runs away from the conventional, with this work it was no different. In volume 1, before the end, I was very disappointed with the work, I thought that that first stalker would be the only conflict in the work and that the seme was just a nice guy at the end, but seriously, when it was revealed that he was the stalker in the end, I was surprised Of course, it was to be expected by the cover and the story that there was something wrong with the semester, when I started reading, I thought he was a weird yandere (IN THE BEGINNING !!), but then, the work went on in a different way. the way she managed to deceive me, I had really thought it would be just another cliché yaoi manga, and probably Harada also knew that most people would think that, but she waited to reveal that he was the culprit at the very end, just to it finishes the volume with this thump, it is really, very well written And that was not the last time that Harada broke the expectation in this manga! In volume 2, at the end, I was already preparing my comment to curse Harada, because I really believed that the seed would change, be forgiven and they would be together and happy in the end, but, again, the manga surprised showing that he never really changed. It is even more incredible if you think that the manga was heading towards the redemption of the seme, as if all that "victimization" of it was also a wall of the plan of the seme, giving the impression that he deceived even the reader on purpose! It's really very good. But I only gave 3 stars, because, even though it is wonderfully well written, the story and the characters did not please me so much, only the writing really impressed me, but this part is just my personal opinion :P

Bro, what a shit. I had high expectations for this manga, a psychological horror that really appealed to horror, but man, this was way worse than I expected. First, I hate Uke, like he was put up as a guy who was really nice and selfless, but by the end of the manga, he literally turns into an asshole OUT OF NOWHERE. I thought that when he found out that the seme was a killer, (which was pretty obvious, let's face it), he would show fear or disgust, I don't know, anything that matched his personality that was presented since the beginning of the manhwa? But no, he liked it, he found it sexy (???) And the worst thing is that the manga tries to force a lot that Uke was always evil or something, but understand, if you sexualize and romanticize a couple of sick killers, making cute and romantic scenes between them, it's hard for readers to believe in this false moralism, isn't it? Well, in general, unfortunately this manga was a big disappointment for me :/

Tourou No Ori

Ongoing | psyche delico | 2014 released

Wow, this manga made me feel awful, and that's exactly why it's amazing. The narrative of this reminds me a lot of Caste Heaven, another work that I love very much, it shows horrible events that are worked in such a good way that they convey the feeling of anguish to you, and at the same time that this is something horrible to if you feel, it's great how a work can convey that to you so genuinely. All the characters are extremely complex and have many facets that are worked out perfectly during the piece, and the main couple have a kind of relationship that I personally love, which is extremes meeting. Both Ukes and Seme have something in common, they both want to feel "full", they want to have someone else to pour out all their feelings, but the way they want it, and how they manage it, is very different. While Uke wants someone to "save" him, Seme wants to have someone to "save", Uke wants to be someone's, he wants to have someone who will support him and overcome with them all his traumas, Seme wants to be the one who will be with them with him but not in a sense of "love" but just possession, and this interaction between the two is so intense and captive, oh I love iiiittt!!!!! I hope the ending doesn't disappoint.

My God, I read this entire manga in just ONE DAY, and I can say for sure, it's wonderful. As a person who has many, many problems with his mother, the way this manga works the mother-child relationship is very well written and true,I was even a little scared with the amount of scenes I saw myself in it, more specifically, I saw my mother, it's really something from another world. The art is simply PHENOMENAL, I can't count the number of times I've stopped reading just to admire it and then save the photo so I can admire it even more later, it's really an artistic masterpiece, the art, in addition to being wonderful in itself, conveys feelings that refine the narrative, making you understand perfectly how a character is feeling and even managing to see yourself in it. I don't have anything else to say, it's amazing, I think the only "criticism" I could make is that in a part near the end, when Seiichi is about to kill that boy, I felt that the narrative ended up being too fanciful, which for many is certainly not a problem, but for me it ended up being very confusing and I thought it was even a little "sloppy", putting a lot of random images in the face of the reader who probably doesn't have much narrative foundation in it, but that's just my personal opinion. Overall, it is, without a doubt, a great manga.
