This Doujinshi has a better plot than the first Boku No Hero movie.

I have no words to describe this wonderful manga, the story and the characters are so realistic, so relatable, it's incredibly well written! Besides, it is the first yaoi I see that makes sex scenes relevant to stories, since if they were not so explicit the impact would not be the same. A masterpiece. The story did not please me at first, not gonna lie, but these new chapters are great, getting better. And art is beautiful

My only problem with Painter of The Night is that the rape scenes are sexualized, if it weren't for that, it wouldn't have any defects. When the relationship between Seungho and Nakyum is abusive, the manhwa makes it very clear that it is not healthy, thus not romanticizing it. My only fear is that the manhwa is going on a path of redemption for Seungho, which really worries me how they will build it in the end. But I hope for new chapters.

Okay, apart from the fact that I ALMOST BROKE CELL PHONE FOR HAGE, the manhwa really holds you in the story and the art is very beautiful. And also, WHY DO YOU PUT ME INTO THE SPECTATIVE THAT WILL HAVE SEX ONLY TO STEP IN MY HOPES AND DREAMS?

Finally a work that the sex scenes and the story are divided in a right way! And the sex scenes are so hot, besides they come as a reward for the reader. And about the new volume, I'm a little uncertain, but the plot about the little girl's biological father seems interesting at least

The art direction is wonderful, the development of the story takes time, but without being overwhelming, these are the points that I don't see in most BLs and that I see in this one, and they are very good :D But...well...The only thing that really missed me was the story itself, when you see such beautiful art, and chapters so well organized, you imagine that the story to come is something profound, complex, or at the very least, interesting. But the story of this manga is somewhat cliché, and even uninteresting (???) The plot of them being brothers is not the main factor in the story, and is treated as if it were something exaggeratedly complex, but well, it is not. The amount of time that the manga spends recycling the plot of them being brothers (and also the plot of the cards), did not show in the end to have as much relevance that the manga developed to have. Furthermore, as I said, the art direction is incredible, but the moments that the art is applied are so superficial, and with such a beautiful art, it seems even forced by the manga to try to put so much drama in something so "ridiculous". I would have liked it better if the story really was anything other than superficial conflicts treated with overestimation, but that's just my opinion, it can even be considered a pleasant way to spend time :V

Oh my God, this is the first yaoi I read that really handles conflicts over sexuality in the right way. Uke's conflict with his father was just incredible, and very realistic too, as the father doesn't abruptly overcome homophobia and is gradually redeeming himself, and the manga was talking about the marriage of people of the same gender being accepted under Japanese law, and currently, in 2021, same-sex marriage was permitted by law!!! :D The seme sexuality part was also very good, but I wish it had been more detailed, there was that part of the lesbians that hinted that Seme was having a compulsory heterosexuality, but even so, I felt that it was very open, it could have been working harder. :/ Anyway, I liked it a lot, but, there is the big problem, which is the rape part, look, I thought that in the end, the manga didn't defend Seme's attitude so much (IN THE END!), but, in the scene that they met again after 3 years, Uke kept saying things like "I wanted to, so it was not your fault", but, well, in the rape scene Uke was clearly begging Seme to stop, so, it becomes difficult to defend Seme. And not to mention that, the second rapist's redemption was so ??? Like, I liked the part about him hating Uke just because he was a gay in the closet who hated his sexuality, but man, he literally tried to RAPE another guy, so, again, it’s hard to defend rapist. In general, despite the problems, I liked it a lot.
