Hedel, who was on the brink of marrying her cousin, gets a proposal from the Duke of Monsters. Everyone opposes it, but Hedel has no choice but to accept the duke’s proposal cuz of the debt they owe to the cousin's family. She would rather marry a the Duke, who she has never met, rather than her evil cousin. The Duke has scales on him (probably cuz he is a descendant of the dragon) After Hedel arrived to the East or the Duke's land, the weather is sunny and bright, which is actually a rare occurrence and totally opposite of the usual, which is rainy, foggy, and gloomy.
