Yakusoku no Neverland
Breathtaking manga!! From the concept, storyline and phasing-this is one of the best I’ve read. It was a nightmare for me at first the faces of the demons shows up at times when I close my eyes and those poor children who were first harvested. I have to agree that somehow, we humans are doing the same things. I have yet again learned something valuable by reading manga. Betrayals, hunger, greed — humans are capable of this too and it really happens, digusting. Emma is such a refreshing source of reason and kindness. Norman … yes Norman, I am amazed to how capable he is and somehow, I understand the things he did, he saw all the darkness, experience them firsthand, but at the end of the day, he’s still that calm and soft Norman we knew. Ray is soo reliable, I loved how his perspective changed as the story progressed, he learned things along the way and I thank him for that because he brought me along with their journey. This story is not the typical story but it was told amazingly. Thank you to the author of this manga whom I believe is a woman, abante babae indeed! I had fun reading it but I don’t think i’ll have the guts to re-read it someday soon. I love Phil btw, he made me cry just by thinking of the two years that he waited for others so save them. I hope they’re all happy now, they’ve been through soo much. Let’s all remember to be kind.
