Literally in my top 20 favorite mangas of all time, in fact, it might even be in my top ten. As an artist myself reading this gets me more emotional than any sad heart-string-pulled story could ever. I remember watching the anime and just relating to it and just mesmerized by it. And the story is just beautiful: beautifully written, beautifully drawn and beautifully executed. If I could go back to the day I decided to watch blue period I would.

This was totally different than what I expected it to be. It was so good and I didn’t expect Jimi Hendrix to be a real person or for this to be about transcendent dead musicians possessing peoples bodies and telling them if they don’t become legends like them before they are 27 they’ll die. Overall 10/10 would recommend. Also it’s a mix of western comics and Japanese manga.

Plzzzzzz this story is so interesting and I hate ririko with a passion. I want to see more of their relationship cause right now it’s pretty one sided but I’m willing to wait.
