Office worker x wolf half-beast (writer) A gets put in charge of connecting a newly orphaned half-beast child with a half-beast writer since they're the last specimen of the Japanese wolf; while watching over them getting closer A can't help but be drawn to B who seems to really love A's smell Sad touch that half-beast actually live shorter lives than humans -> B will die way before A -> only shortly touched upon during the epilogue -> would have given way more depth to their love if properly integrated (generally: relationship developement missing) Same with half-beasts being treated as sub-humans (already evident by the term) so that humans can feel superior 8/10
