Retired soldier/mercenary x wealthy heir (past lovers) A's just returned from Africa when he runs into B and instantly has flashbacks from a past life where both were husband and wife (B as a woman); B who's constantly under the threat of assassination ends up forcing A to become his bodyguard so that they won't be apart again while A struggles with the thought of feeling that way about a man A bit of resurrection as well at the end (B turning out to have always been a powerful witch is quite interesting) Also like that in this life B's fucking A ^^ 8/10
