Enjoyable enough of a read, I say the MVP were the side characters tho lmao (especially Taiga, that’s one chill man) The dialogue is a tiny bit cringe xd It got a bit better during the second half? But maybe that was just hidden under the dramatic angst. The semi-stiff art and author’s lacking ability to draw in perspectives amplified the cringe too (gave off “amateur artist trying manga for the first time” kinda vibe) Story contained guilty-pleasure elements but couldn’t deliver them right cuz of the art and dialogues lol. It’s like omegaverse except with dom/sub as secondary genders which is a little disorienting at first, but the story rolls with it really well. Overall presents very good bdsm etiquette too (not perfect but much better than average)

4.5; Honestly nice dialogues and plot progression, overall cute and wholesome Unexpectedly incorporates quite a number of healthy BDSM elements Unfortunately has a little cringe dialogue (tolerable tho), the art’s a little subpar (smut’s good tho), and UH. THE EXPLANATION-NARRATOR BOXES ARE EXCESSIVELY CRINGE. it comes in during fast-paced or naturally flowing racey/cute scenes and m’lord it breaks the flow so abruptly it’s just. UGH. It does it in a shounen-style too? Even without the scene break it’s super cringe overall lmfao talking about BDSM terms like they’re special finisher moves -___-

Scratches a nice D/S itch, though the dangerous nature of the prisoner was never really…revealed? Like it’s an elephant in the room that the manga blatantly ignored lol Context aside the hurt comfort was rly nice Awesome art too Ngl the story could’ve done a lot more with itself, it had the right setup for angst, trauma-bonding and drama. But the author really wanted to focus on the smut and just,,,made the story 50% smut lol
