Overall plot of royal succession and overthrowing the regent who has been rulling for generations as the royal family went missing. 2nd male lead end up being the villain but its all g. There were some miss communication between the two as seme was using uke for the coup, and uke needs seme as his family ordered. Uke had a moment of heartbreak when he proposed they break off the engagement after they overthrow the regent and seme agreed. In the end MCs confessed for each other and got married for real.
