A normal couple with a healthy relationship.

I have to admit once I got past the "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH A YAKUZA YOU ARE A POLICE OFFICER", this manga is super cute and funny. I love Aki's behavior towards Ueda. Those sort of ukes are my weakness.

This was exactly what I needed to conclude Konya mo Nemurenai. It's charming and sweet and everything you'd need from a spin-off series about a secondary couple.

A really sweet story. The pacing was perfect.

Another well written BL couple in my opinion. The humor is on point and the atmosphere of the story is just so charming to me. I never thought I would say that about anything having to do with any type of paparazzi haha. Onoe is the honest man with a strong moral-code , and Kaburagi is the dishonest man who will do anything to get the scoop. These two clash right away, and the fact Onoe’s ex dumping him for Kaburagi doesn’t really help either. Their dynamic is full of banter and bickering but beneath all that you’ll get a pair who truly care for each other. This will probably be one of my favorites of the BL genre.

Isaku Natsume's stories are always so sweet, good, and fun to read. This was one of the first I've ever read by this author. And this one is so beautiful and touching.

Such a sweet story about a man finding a healthier new love in his neighbor.

The relationship felt kind of toxic to me, which is to kind of be expected from these guys' dynamic I guess, the relationship between the two got better near the end though! The smut was also, well.... it delivers haha, I'll probably reread it for the smut. I feel like we also should have seen more of Josei's perspective rather than just Motoki's. When a love interest is kind of a jerk I feel the reader needs time to get to know that character to like, forgive them or see them as redeemed I guess. I didn't mind this though, it was pretty okay, I just feel like it could have been better had a little extra time be put into it.

It hit the smut elements pretty dARN GOOD. Though I prefer a little more romance but to each their own I suppose. The first pair I enjoyed, the other two weirded me out with the pedo vibes and the rape.

I'm used to arrogant celebrities falling in love with someone whose not a fan of them so this is unique in that sense. And the two's dynamic got a couple of chuckles out of me at moments. However I really do not care for the rape. The relationship was pRETTY forced in making Takato receptive of Junta's feelings right away.
