exactly!! in the end those two are going to get together and that’s going to piss me off. i feel like this would be a decent story if the uke switches school and meets a sweet, not abusive man to help him with the trauma from Lee Kang. that would be a sweet, good read. this? this is straight up rape (so is all yaoi) and really shouldn’t be romanticized?? yeah i know some people would argue how the “sex scenes are hot though” really? i don’t understand what’s “hot” about rape. yaoi in general was created by straight women to fetishize gay men. i understand everyone has preferences but i think it crosses the line with all the rape. there is a difference between yaoi and shounenAi which a lot of BL readers don’t understand. yaoi is rape. people saying anime/mangas like Given, Yuri on Ice, and especially banana fish are yaois are offending the authors. shounenAi is not and most shounenAi Bl only has fluff scenes. sex is great. i agree. but rape is not and i feel like people need to see that. thanks for coming to my ted talk.
