King's Maker Triple Crown: Mature Version
I Thought It Was a Common Isekai Story
Suddenly Became a Princess One Day
It's unbelievably well-written and you can see just how dedicated the artists have been while making these panels. I would certainly recommend this. Don't expect that much romance though since the plot focuses more on her relationship with her father.
Doctor Elise
I found the plot very interesting at first. However, I feel like as the story progressed it slowly started being more dull. I've read very well past the first hundred chapters, but I don't see myself reading for more. We'll see if I'll ever come back to read it again. The art style is, of course, pretty but that's about it.
Rebirth
It's the first bl on here and also the first one with slightly smutty scenes. It's cute idk. I was binging this while I was preparing for an exam, so I don't think I gave the read its justice. The storyline was certainly interesting tho. It was just really heavy at the start and I can't say that it was for no reason too. They made the whole conflict about the abuse the protagonist experienced from the main lead in their past life. Let me just say that their "past" relationship was brutal. It included topics that I very much stray away from whenever I read. I finished the story tho so I guess that says something. The formal score would be 3.5 but I can't do that in this site.
The Hero is Standing in my Way
It's a cute light read. I binged it all within a day and I'm glad to have finished it. The art was the main reason as to why I decided to read it and it didn't disappoint. The sceneries and characters are all drawn with great detail. You could tell that the artists took that extra time to make everything look just as magical as the story. For the plot, this one I could definitely say isn't your common isekai story. I love the twist that they added to this very saturated genre of webtoons and I'm glad that they did it. That one little change made all the difference when it came to experiencing the story. It's a good read overall and I fully recommend it. The female protagonist in this story is a strong swordsman too. I think the amount that she saved the male protagonist, despite him being this great war soldier, is greater than the times she was saved by anyone. She's another capable woman and I'm glad to have encountered a similar female lead as the previous one I've binged.
I Choose the Emperor Ending
I don't know if it's the universe continually giving me signs, but I accidentally stumbled upon another strong female lead and a story with interesting critiques when it came to societal expectations of women. Again, binged it all in one day. The art is something that I'm thankful for. I've been desperately searching for another binge that has a good art style and plot. The last few webtoons I've read only had either one of the two. I'm pleased to finally find one that has both. The plot was interesting. I am just confused when it comes to the ending. I think it would have been more impactful if the main character chose a more logical path. I like the commentary about how the protagonist's internalized biases against women became her own cross to carry in the later part of the story. However, it did come randomly, at least for me. I never thought that it'll be a part of the story line in any shape or form. Still, I can't help but feel happy for that kind of development. It's a fun story all in all ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
