I was rooting for Carsein but i do enjoy this ending as well. Im glad that how a change of one person changed the fates of so mamy others for the better. Though the ending was ruined for me because at the end of one chaoter there was a post saying the ending, im glad i continued to read insread of being mad. If i had stopped because of what i read i would have regretted it. Very very well told story and i enjoyed. Though i cant say this was a masterpiece, it is definitely worth a reread.

Amazing story. Truly amazing. Incredibly depressing seeing how life goes for punpun and how he slowly falls deeper and deeper into an endless hole but its REAL. The struggles and problems every character goes through is real. This story really opened my eyes into how people process certian situations and how the results are from their choice and freedom. Truly an amazing piece of art. A definite reread but i want to reread when im in a better mindset. This story is not to be read just to be sad. This story hits hard. Leaving you with a very bittersweet ending. Its neither good nor bad its just an end. "Living is harder than dying, see, so I thought this was the most painful, worst possible ending for Punpun, and that’s why in the end I went with this final chapter." ~Asano. I love you punpun. I am so happy that everything turned out the way everyone worked hard for. Suwa my man such a selfless person. He gave up his future with his kid and marriage to naho to have kakeru alive and happy with naho. The fact that he has a picture of his family in the future and that he knows that would never come true now that kakeru has naho really makes my heart sink. I hope my suwa finds love greater than what he had with naho in the parallel future. The fact that i know that the parallel future is still the same (suwa and naho have their baby and theyre married) and that this parallel future has kakeru and naho happy makes me happy though. In the end suwa is happy in both universes but each for a different reason. I love this story. I balled my eyes out many many times throughout this story. i love it so much i need to watch the anime. Please please reread
