You know. I came to really hate the father but as the story went on i slowly grew more and more sympathy for him. Honestly hes gone through so much that he deserved a better ending. Handsome daddy, handsome son, and prostitutes. Drama drama drama. I hated the ending....im so mad that he ended up hiding him away and marrying the woman his father wanted him to marry. Thats so unbelieveably frustrating. Neither of them are happy. Theyre both broken and pretty much relying on eachothers presence to survive. Just ugh. I love the art though.

Its a very calming mature feel good story. Im kind of sad rin x kouichi? never happened. I feel like they would have been such a good couple making fucking adorable kids. Daikichi is such a cute older man. Hes funny and clumsy and hilarious. The main problem that everyone had showed and i suprisingly wasnt totally against it. The way daikichi addressed the issue was mature and sweet. I love my main characters. I loved they made us bond with them amd grow up with them before dropping some controversial bombs on us lol. Seeing them afterwards comfortable and happy made my heart warm. This is probably the first time though that im glad it didnt show kids. Having known both of them over 10 years of their lives, i think it would have made me feel awkward. I would definitely reread ♡ 9.2/10
