First of all, right off the bat, it wasn't consensual, which bothers me. Succumbing to desire doesn't make everything okay? And I feel like we never really got to see the characters' personalities outside of the sex at all, so when the sex happened, I didn't really feel engaged at all. There was also the fact that the seme kept sleeping around with people and never informing the uke about it because it violates the uke's trust in SO many ways: the uke has the right to know whether the seme is having sex with people for his own sexual safety, but also, he made it quite clear he had feelings for the uke and yet STILL slept with other people? If it was an open relationship, that's one thing, but talk to your partner about this sort of thing before you do it? I don't know. Just a really unhealthy relationship portrayed with really weak characters. This manga could've gone places, but it went a really typical route and I didn't enjoy it at all, not even the sex pages. The build up was unrealistic to both their feelings AND the sex. It just happened and, instead of exploring the characters through that, they just fucked relentlessly and mainly against the uke's will. Your typical run of the mill BL nowadays, honestly. I don't know why I was expecting anything else.

I usually don't like love triangles because I'd rather the person make up their mind about who's right for them, but this time around, the uke obviously had stronger feelings for his best friend over the stranger who made him sweets, so that was nice to read. Edit (Post Ch. 4): Nevermind, what the FUCK did I just read? Suddenly, it's both parties? Even though the one guy constantly takes advantage of him and can only really make him sweets? This is such bullshit, nope, I gave it 2/5 stars instead of the previous 4/5 because that was SUCH BULLSHIT. UGH. How disappointing.
