Finally read this after being in the 'wanted to read' section for years. But ... The story is ... How do i say... Very confusing... The narrations are very poetic for a fuxked up plotline... By the end of the story.. it feels like i understand nothing... Like for real... The flow is really poetic too... Too bad coz i think this would've been a really great story if the presentation were much direct and not this puzzle-like... The ending is somewhat unclear...
A Thousand Cranes
Craig witnessed a guy committing a murder in an alley on his way back home. And every since that incident, the guy Craig saw, Dean started to feel alive when he saw Craig. Well Dean grew up being trained to kill. He first hold a knife was when he was five years old. But he never liked that, so when he first saw Craig, he felt as if Craig have him a reason to live. Well in other word, Dean fell in love with Craig. There's some Yakuza's action and so on. The story is not that bad, there are moments when Craig and Dean are being cute and fluffy despite the story consists of blood and Yakuza dealing.
