Sengoku Komachi Kurou Tan!
@71 Can't believe I just binged this. Tbh, the history flew past my head and I have no positive impression of Japanese history (nor of anyone, especially mine), but this had me reflecting in the pov of Shizuko. As she said, she is facing the people in front of her and those she aims to protect. It's kinda funnt how often she has these dead eyes look on her face tho
Bokura wa Nando mo Koi o suru
i actually cried. its that intensity of emotions and the sudden cuts as if i can audibly hear the cinematic rendition of it. the last jump actually really disturbed me but well, im just happy he managed to postpone his death in the end because while death is inevitable, knowing that u have the chance to reverse death and extend their life can really take a toll on someone (his love pretty much leaped at a height where he's as passionate as Ban haha)
Villain initialization
I took a step back when at chapter 2 when the motive seem "edgy", the common type of 'oh i wanna be the greatest villain". But NO. This ought to be animated or something coz the artist's storytelling during negotiations, mental strains, and even something like a video message are so creative and vivid! It doesnt waste time having two characters stare at each other and talk. The artist visualizes the conversation and when the characters do stand in front of each other, you'll see their behaviors in the most subtle ways. It's just fve stars overall. You dont even get to predict what really happens coz the characters do all sorts of things beyond having a "a-ha!" Or "got you!" Moment. Gee, I DREADED SEEING THE CHAPTER END
