Isekai De "kuro No Iyashi Te" Tte Yobarete Imasu
There's really nothing wrong with Mizuro's indecisiveness here. Her intentions change with her environment yet all the same grounded with what she can do. She wanted to go home because she thought her time ran parallel with earth. Hence, she wanted to be an adventurer and learn how to adapt while also trying to leave. However, her attachment and the knowledge that she could return in peace, gave her the resolute to make use of her power to be helpful in the society and class she was in. Even with the demon king, she wasn't rash with her decisions. Independent women doesn't mean being separate with men, it means being true to yourself and capable of deciding for yourself. Besides, it's insensitive to think that just because female leads become somewhat reliant to men or are woo-ed by men, they are not strong anymore. And what's wrong with being girly? Female femininity is almost always looked down on but it empowers delicate kindness and maternal-like instincts to be gentle and empathic. im starting to think that female masculinity has become the stereotypical 'strong and independent women', but it only further imposes the narrative that women should be more like men to be considered independent or powerful.
Angel Buddy
Sooho has seen and able to interact with spirits since he was young. His experience had made him recluse except for a close friend. However, an unexpected meeting with an angel changed his fate along those who are connected to him. Taker, the angel, who ironically despises taking another soul learns about humanity and love as he cohabits with Sooho.
Alien In My Closet
i didnt expect it to be this wholesome. Hyesung has a bdsm sexual preference which he doesnt dare to tell anyone. His attraction towards his sunbae, whom he imagines to do it with, is shaken when an alien crash landed in his backyard and starts living in his wardrobe. Regardless, the alien who turns out to be a researcher becomes the only one who understood and accepted his everything.
Sweetheart V5: The Boss Is Too Kind!
less dramatic than most romance and supernatural manhuas ive read. it's pleasant and well translated, too!
A Mild Noble's Vacation Suggestion
as if another normal day, the duke treats his sudden transmigration as a fated vacation. As curious as he is, he starts an adventurer's life with the one slash-lone wolf adventurer named Gil. With a nobility's face and atmosphere, it's just hard for others to see him as an adventurer
Dimensional Mercenary
It is morally gray following realistic moral dilemmas while struggling to maintain virtues as one persists to survive and complete missions. Male lead is overwhelmed with bitter truths in both real life and in the life in his contracts. While confronting moral delimmas, he persists and strengthen his virtues just the same. "It is my sin; therefore, I am responsible." Whatever he learns in either realities, he applies in both as well. May it be his real life eloquence or his attained experience of murder and deceit among others. VERY INTERESTING, my smile faded when I finished the last updated
Medical Return Webtoon
I have issues with the portrayal of doctor's word choices. It sounds very irresponsible to promise something especially when someone's life is on the line. Also, it's so stressful how it's just toxic to be in the hospitals in this webtoon. Encouraging a competitive atmosphere to strengthen the interns, residents, doctors mentally is different from the toxicity of verbal and mental abuse I just read. But it's also amusing how they diss US' healthcare or at least the hospital used here. oh, and i really think sangmin is literally asking for help with the amount of times he warned or hinted others about his crime. i was already thinking that he just wanted to die thru his friend. a twisted portrayal of his desire to be stopped and desire to be remembered by Jinhyun. Coz, i know he will never be justified... it's just that sangmin is broken by his father... and i'm still pissed by the redundancy of "cheer up" as if that's supposed to be Jinhyun being a 'friend'. What he did for Hwaemi, listening to her and offering his time... romance aside, that would have made him a friend to Sangmin. He's just as self-absorbed as his past, except he has been blessed by God and by his experience with failure.
Kill the Hero
Very exciting and balanced scenarios of predictibility and cunning schemes. He has a funny side kick—who is more often than not working his ass off as a tanker. No romance or women who are interested in him, plus the goal isn't some sort or "along the way" plot. everything is directly influencing/affecting his object of revenge. no fillers or etc. and also, wtf, Kim Woojin in the novel before waki g up as a player has a more interesting past! which makes rereading refreshing tbh haha >> https://woopread.com/series/kill-the-hero/
