Interesting MC who is a little dense, but is very proactive and humble. Takes magic and responsibility seriously, but is unable to refuse his sister which trapped him into a sudden polygamous engagement with 3 girls. Despite being OP, he is confronted with a heavy responsibility to take on the world's biggest threat on top of all the complexities of an aristocrat.

the stars are for the empress, the lack of it is because of how annoying the emperor is as well as the slow and almost dilly dallying progress. it's 73 chaps yet almost nothing significant happens besides befriending the fave concubine, escaping death for the nth time w/o progress from the investigation, garnering the emperor's interest (emphasis on cringy blushing and delulus despite having done nothing so helpful for her) and still leaving a lot of gaps as to why she's being targeted or hated by emperor (with this pace, it's going to take 200 chaps to know at least 80% of what's going on)

73 Well, he's whipped alright (also, I really like how the author kept me rooting for her as a bird and seeing how much she really wanted to serve her people as a bird because even with power, she was only suffocating from being the 8th princess. I'm just enjoying each chapter. No unnecessary angst.)

Marking for (46) 1. Relationships are vague (I'm personally not limiting it to romantic interests because that felt too black and white) 2. After the 1st season, the translation (or maybe my overall comprehension of it) confused me so much esp where Nina and the King stands 3. It talks about implications a lot but it the clarity of it all is confusing and has stumped me too much to go further.

"Please, be my god." I've got my faves and it's honestly Lerry and the 2nd prince only because of the effort and sacrifices theyve done (and the author wasn't too cruel)

Im annoyed that everything is "it's okay" when they apologize or excuse themselves. It's great thst the male lead makes them accountable, but the MC annoys me with her soft approaches. Instead of saying she cares, it's more like she doesn't until someone gets hurt because she's linient. I'm also annoyed that despite having a fiance, she still lets herself be cuddled by other men. Their animal forms are just bait and yet she's upset that he's jealous? Suddenly, I look forward to the third girl to upset her more. But I bet she's just going to be "kind" anyway
