Doctor’s Rebirth
@119 A volunteer doctor dies as he covered the kids from getting shot. Upon waking up, he finds himself within a child's body among those who were ambushed. Motivated by his profession as a doctor, he looks for fellow survivors. Unknown to him that he had actually transmigrated into a Murim Novel he had read in his past life. As an unknown side character who had unintentionally saved the main character among others, his knowledge as a doctor pushes him into the center of the novel's plot... ultimately being a disciple of the powerful yet ill godly doctor. ps. tried to read the novel, but it's difficult to read. Could be the unconventional writing style it was written in or the poor translation. Either way, it was a difficult read
A Modern Man Who Got Transmigrated Into the Murim World
Dropped 1. The narrative jumps. Transition and adaptation are basically smoke, they're there but vaguely. You see the memories combine but events occur left and right without the intention of "getting familiar", he just goes on with continuing the life of his reincarnation (coz he got the memories but is more attuned with his modern memories) meeting people and expanding business without much respect to its setting. It just bulldozes it with "modernism and capitalism" 2. There is nothing relatable nor cohesive about his character. He may have had the confidence, but easily devalues his family (heck, we won't see them as much after all the expansion. Like where did the mom and daughter go when the workshop expanded. His father was left when he migrated his business. His brother is basically accessory and gone the next). Then he goes ahead and adapted a modern greedy capitalist who treat every one as tools of business. His detailed business proposal dwindled to not even realizing what it means to build an unconventionally high rise building (like bruh, 7 years and you forget the details coz u obsess over the big picture, what was that?). He takes martial arts as nothing coz he got a cheat (an alien in a world of martial artist valuing their art). 3. Its one of those shallow capitalist who have neither respect nor consideration of the people in the world he lives in (we can change the title to Ancient Tycoon sandbox or something more accurate). The moments of humanity he showed before he found something extraordinary really disappeared. You won't find the guy who once debated about legalism and democracy or even had thoughts that cared about "the balance of the world". And also, the "objective" he has related to his power and his ancestors are just accessories, as if to justify all his deranged tycoon ways because of how randomly it pops out to remind you about it. The art is really great tho. There's some humor to it. The skills are cool. No annoying harems or anything perverted. But like, there's not much foundation to the story which is a shame
I'm a Martial Art Villainess but I'm the Strongest!
