For a shoujo, this story FAILS HARD—and it sucks because it's the forced slow burn is basically becoming the FL's fault. im telling u, the author had so many chances for them to just hit it off but then make these uselessly repetitive drawbacks that were supposedly already brought up.
the author drags the romance so badly that it makes Lily like a dense hypocrite who should reflect on how she treats Leonard, or her feelings, before she even dare to comment on someone else's relationships or call someone else dense and advise them to communicate. if it weren't for their filial relationship, i'd given this up before i even read up to 30 chapters.
also, ROMANCE is sooooo different from the love for family and friends. it shouldve been at least 70% understood when the concept of "sex" and "marriage" was brought up during the princess and prince childbirth problem.
