[dropped] Just to get this out of my system, ch11 demonstrates Rachel's bias to the point of victim blaming Noah and Oscar while also using the term "betrayal"—very ironic of someone who also recognizes that Lucian was abused and OG Rachel tormented Oscar. Mixed feelings but i also want to brush it off as a common rose tinted perspective we also have towards charming villains...but it didnt sit well to me that she blamed Oscar for the tragedy lmao @22 another episode of "mc is actually villain moment" @41 so much of my hope is down the drain. I understand the realism of swallowing truths because of anxiety but this passiveness also spirals to dragged plot and empty musings. There is little balance to internal and external conflict because majority of what had happened are more of a prelude and even burying so much details that we can only hope to dig up sooner or later. I just expected too much from the MC since i got used to proactive ones who are adamant to adapt to this life or are desperate to change it. Rachel here is more passive

As if the plot isn't complicated enough, we just had to have a clueless main character who doesn't match the energy of other people as well as overcomplicating her ways, conveniently instilling misunderstanding and 'overthinking' from the people that matters. I couldn't read past ch10.

Mc is kind, timid, and a coward. She's stuck thinking about the game and the basic trope of death flags but isn't able to fully comprehend her relationship dynamics—to be fair, she already admits to being antisocial and poor social skills. Her knowledge of the game as well isn't enough to help. Indtead, the knowledge of the game made her social skills much poorer and complicated as she denies all sorts of possessive behavior towards her, lets them push her around, and is unable to properly confront named characters from the game.
