I’m a Villainess, Can I Die?
How dare it make me cry chapter after chapter Dropped after the belongingness in the fam coz the romance doesnt really feel interesting nor as attention grabbing as when they were trying to keep her alive
I Failed to Divorce My Husband
Dropped when MC persists to abandon the ML because it's another tiresome "he'll meet the protagonist anyway, i should just leave even if the ML is basically on his knees, brokenhearted, and devoted" plus she loves him and there were no strong forces to indicate that the plot will be more powerful than the changes she has made and the work they did together. I really miss MCs that knows how to fight for themselves, screw "realistic insecurities and anxiety" when it's more refreshing to have her confronting the future after all the shit theyve been through together since childhood. 35 I really want to put my hopes in this coz the FL managed to mend the unwritten trials in the novel. But its this subtle anxiety whenever she banks on the novel's FL. Im here reminding myself that she "failed" to divorce him. It's blatantly reliant on the ML's understandable affection, but maybe it's a leeway of her own choice to stay on her own accord. Oh, and i wish it wouldnt demonize the intended FL again just to make this convenient reason to foster their relationship, like let it continue this momentum of their fostered trust and changing status during their puberty. 39... Nah, she's still adamant. I get it, she's scared of the possible fateful encounter, but well, let's have the ML grip tighter coz even the parents' sentiment didnt penetrate her stubborness.
Isekai Tensei no Boukensha
bring me back the tears I cried coz all im left with is rage. if the grandad was able to push him to wherever, then they couldve just gone and jump elsewhere. it's not as if everyone was wounded, they chose to die with the dad but oh, let's push the kid away? how is it that they had this foreshadowing that oh, he's loved by the gods and gifted w/ strength but ig they didn't love him enough.
I Tamed My Ex-Husband's Mad Dog
Main character started off strong, now she's just pathetic
I Was Dismissed from the Hero’s Party Because They Don’t Need My Training Skills, so I Strengthen My [Fief] Which I Got as a Replacement for My Retirement Money.
I already disliked the arrogance and ingratitude, then came the typical fanservice style drawing of women and worse is a kid character dragged into it.
summer season
Oh look, a "handsome" pervert you'd otherwise see as a no-faced NPC in a hentai mag... in love with the biggest hypocrite who looks down on others while playing hero ~ 13 chaps, man. And it wasnt as good as the topics made me think. It's just dramatically petty
Perfect Surgeon
The hierarchal system is stressful but im glad the author made it that the protagonist is actively pushing forward despite it and they dont demonize all the hospital staff. Just imagine a corrupt system and everyone is just part of it. Coz damn, i wouldnt read that. Plus the core connection between AI and human is such a relevant theme given the current mainstream concerns of AI (despites is prevalance in high end fields like surgery, manufacturing and all that). It's just a well written story that balances itself out with the tension, round characters, and humanized situations Dropping @79, besides the protag being derailed by the politics and ik how promising it is to "change the damn system", watching a dumb four eyed asshole obsess over blaming him is just so exhausting. I couldve wanted a competitive atmosphere over political advantage coz now he's just as nobody as the basic villains. Ew
I Became the Wife of the Monstrous Crown Prince
Dropped. The plot was actually very interesting, especially because there is so much depth to the origin of the curse. But Anthea irritated me so much because of her self-serving attitude and how unnecessary her "transmigration" origin became coz it's useless or rather dismissed during the flashback and history. Like, it doesn't even matter that she was a modern Korean who woke up in this novel world (food was all there is to it) coz the latter half could have been a simple reawakening and we could still keep the OG Anthea. Plus all her sacrifices were self-serving. She didn't care how Blake would feel nor did she have the wit to rebuke Ser because it served her well to be a sacrifice. She is no different from the emperor but at least the emperor said "he had 2 children to look after" so he won't be sacrificing himself. IDK, I don't feel like rooting for anthea coz it's so dam useless to root for someone who doesnt give af that her choices hurt Blake more than it helps him bor does it help Ser who projects her own sins towards Anthea.
