Sawatari is a hardworking salesman who could even give up his ass if the God of Sales, Shino, is gay. Even when Shino teased him, the two ended up having sex which Sawatari misunderstood as part of his work. When Shino told him it wasn't, Sawatari is stunned yet found himself wanting to sleep with Shino after an unfamiliar jealousy surfaced. Just when he thought he was exclusively Shino's partner, he found out that Shino didn't want any lover which hit that nail on Sawatari that he had fallen in love with Shino and expected to have a chance. Nonetheless, he doesn't give up on Shino until the two were given more opportunities to deepen their relationship.

more wholesome than i prepped myself for. I was on the edge with how she tries to dip into the characters, quite different from the classic "runaway". she does her best to help them stray from whatever triggered their twistedness upon realizing the innocence they could have. Plus the characters are people, different from the 2D experience of game avatars. This, of course, is common but the story goes on to add more spice. (and omg, im just so happy that it's like a restrained yandere instead of a romanticized yandere)

I really like Marilyn because of hew straightforwardness and confrontative personality. I was concerned by the trope at first but the author is so good at adding refreshing scenes that arent normally addressed in other stories. It's a balance of mind games, miscommunication, and blunt scenarios. Like, Sibel is a major red flag, but it's being addressed in this seemingly natural transition from love to hate, twisting "youre the first girl who did this to me, and "i can fix him". These trope are very apparent, but the execution is so refreshing and interesting.
