Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I'm a Reincarnator
[dropped] i can't explain it well but the overall politics and relationships are unsatisfying. I'm especially conflicted by Ellen's perspective towards the wailing spirits and the royal family. I understand that the crown prince is just ignoring his ancestor's sins, so he's pretty much villainous. But this sort of "i understand where theyre coming from" disposition is a weakness of Ellen. She's tooooo ambiguous and just when i thought she'd meet the prince's son halfway, she ctus him off with this dangerous advice that they should just see it through. I dislike the usage of "understand their position/roles" instead of pointing out the facts that they caused their downfall, that the royal fam are digging the kingdom's grave by using inhumane methods. ahhh i can't explain it well. even lafilia's case is handled poorly. tsk
Spirit Farmer
Very refreshing take on ability users and dungeons. Instead of dramatic action, it focuses on a wholesome farming and beast communication. It has no pedophilia nor anything borderline. Instead, it's just a wholesome and heartwarming father and daughter duo who is able to peacefully cultivate their farm and tend to their livestock despite famous and powerful people around them.
The Villainous Princess Wants to Live in a Cookie House
1st season. fun and doesn't obsess over the original plot, as in, despite being scared when she meets death flags she knows that she isn't as dumb nor vain as the novel character. She's fun 2nd season is absolutely adorable! Plus our MC is so proactive and blunt. There's no time to fully poke into some things coz they just have this straightforward dialogues. So refreshing! 3rd season, Im so excited!!
