Just when it hits climax, the story drops. As much as his heartbeat is relevant to the story, it only concludes on a typical "my heart beats only for you". It did not address the majority of its premise. Like, Chan's guilt is glossed over for the sake of returning to Hyeon's side. Hyeon's uncle is basically ignored in the end amidst his strong rejection of Chan. The trials of which Hyeon has to face for accepting his heartbeat yet also suffering when he denies Chan is also left untold. As much as the plot was interesting, the execution gave up on it. Sadly, this story does not even justify its interesting premise.

Aww, both Yutaka and Minoru struggled alone. But now they can rely on each other. I did want to have an extra chapter for their adult life and if Tane will ever realized that his brother and Yutaka are lovers.

Their feelings are a little too dragged out since they made Asakura very dense. Like, he knew Izumi is gay but kept thinking that their kiss was something casual or platonic? Like, he claimed to be a virgin so he opt to be the first to think that being kissed and having those sexual urges means something, right? Asakura as an actor looks promising tho, just that it was used at a point when both of them are still dragging their misunderstandings. Their kids are cute though. Just that the future is showing a father x father and son x son kind of pairing

Ahh it’s fun rereading these soft BLs and their youthful and straightforward love. Mikami sounds stupid but the way he normalizes Akari’s sexuality swells my heart. I know that Akari wants to tests Mikami’s feelings because he is too aware of its consequences but it helped Mikami confirm his feelings for Sato. Also, it’s amusing how assertive Misami can be and even french kiss Sato. Like, is it a natural technique for a ‘virgin kisser’? Besides, the roles are pretty much set the moment Mikami licked Sato HAHAHA. Sato knows it and he’s delaying it from happening.

Sigh... the short story at the beginning was frustrating. They didnt even have a proper closure in the end. The main story was also frustrating. If the seme is all so awesome and capable, he’d know how to handle his senpai’s expulsion since he glared at that asshole of a teacher right? I’m just glad he compensated for the uke after meeting again. But then if the uke just wants to force himself into loving the seme for the sake of compensating as well then what was the point? Man, this BL gave me a head ache, but at the same time it entertained me whenever this rich kid tried to do everything for his senpai.

There’s like three stories here maybe? The childhood besties are the ones that swept me off my feet so even if I vaguely remember the stories, it’s the one that I appreciate most. Next is the honor student who got caught by that playboy. They didnt end up together and looked more to be newly found friends which is nice ‘cause it deviates from the typical blackmailing. The way the black haired boy comforted him like it was just a typical heartbreak was also heartwarming. The way they showed up at the basketball game was even funnier.

As much as I expected Tetsu to be a spirit, the depth of existence and identity becomes more painful. However, seeing as he remains to be Taka’s guardian when he became a teacher is more heartwarming than tragic. I only hope Taka does not deny the feeling of Tetsu watching over him. In the case of the uncle and the peach blossom, all I see is a child who gave him peace knowing that he has seen worst spirits. I’m not comfortable with it as a romantic relationship, so I keep interpreting it as some sort of safe haven for the uncle. I’m just disappointed that even when he is aware of his nephew’s perspective about their ability to be aware of the spirits, he doesn’t help him. Come on, the nephew tries his best to make sure that his uncle is supported by him and that he isn’t snared by some spirit but his uncle only have sentiments for him. Tsk tsk. Either way, I’ll be happier if the nephew becomes closer and develops a healthy relationship with his friend. At least they’d be a living couple. Tbh, the couple breaking up which Tetsu helped was so random but funny at the same time. There’s another living couple amidst this ‘tragedy’.

This might have had a prequel? As much I like how interweaving and simultaneous the relationships in here, there’s some sort of void that I can’t help feeling at the same time. It’s like a need for closure that should’ve already been there but I somehow missed it.
