Isekai De "kuro No Iyashi Te" Tte Yobarete Imasu

Complete | fujima miya,murakami yuichi | 2015 released

There's really nothing wrong with Mizuro's indecisiveness here. Her intentions change with her environment yet all the same grounded with what she can do. She wanted to go home because she thought her time ran parallel with earth. Hence, she wanted to be an adventurer and learn how to adapt while also trying to leave. However, her attachment and the knowledge that she could return in peace, gave her the resolute to make use of her power to be helpful in the society and class she was in. Even with the demon king, she wasn't rash with her decisions. Independent women doesn't mean being separate with men, it means being true to yourself and capable of deciding for yourself. Besides, it's insensitive to think that just because female leads become somewhat reliant to men or are woo-ed by men, they are not strong anymore. And what's wrong with being girly? Female femininity is almost always looked down on but it empowers delicate kindness and maternal-like instincts to be gentle and empathic. im starting to think that female masculinity has become the stereotypical 'strong and independent women', but it only further imposes the narrative that women should be more like men to be considered independent or powerful.

Leveling Up, By Only Eating!

Ongoing | Park min gyu,Koge | 2019 released

some food hunting is unsettling esp when dealing with anthromorphs and how eerie the MC is in the game for ingredients. I also understand than contrary to Bulimia Nervosa, this is more of Binge-eating/Gluttony with physical side effects type of illness. In Fantasy terms, a curse. So it leans on fantasy more than medicine/science.

Kill the Hero

Ongoing | D-dart,Manhwa life | 2019 released

Very exciting and balanced scenarios of predictibility and cunning schemes. He has a funny side kick—who is more often than not working his ass off as a tanker. No romance or women who are interested in him, plus the goal isn't some sort or "along the way" plot. everything is directly influencing/affecting his object of revenge. no fillers or etc. and also, wtf, Kim Woojin in the novel before waki g up as a player has a more interesting past! which makes rereading refreshing tbh haha >> https://woopread.com/series/kill-the-hero/

Tensei Kenja no Isekai Raifu ~Daini no Shokugyo wo Ete, Sekai Saikyou ni Narimashita~

Ongoing | skinko shoto,ponjea; nashyu | 2000 released

@56.1 Easy going adventure with a thickening plot. MC is an exploited corporate slave with high insight that could play around with his powers and adapt in situations. He doesn't really encounter extreme prejudice or discrimination and gets along with the majority of characters he encounter. he's the type to return the favor, but takes revenge tenfold through schemes. (quite clueless, too)

i'm losing braincells the more i meet this Medis person. Like how much of a stupid idealist are you to never learn nor care that when you decide thing, you're only harming Akira??? Like, saving children by having no plans of attack because of you ego, forcing Akira to be your vassal and act like that wasnt your goal BUT arrogantly agree to a bet that only pressures Akira. SO FUCKING STUPID. Like where did the having a family go? also i know the idea is like "with power comes great responsibility" but what happened to the family arc? All that happened was force the MC to do shit because these people around him are greedy for his power. The royal arc is so stupid and im actually leaning towards the magician prince, despite his extremist materialism, because at least he had more sense to see the bigger picture that ignorance would kill the kingdom and pressures the border to kill themself all the while that the kingdom knows nothing. (more like, why is this such an extremist battle with no sensible character around?
