i shouldve already guessed it since it is an extremist subversion of omegaverse where alphas are reduced into fools while omegas are dominating matriarchs. First, again alphas are fools—at least in an omegaverse, both sexes have spunk instead of predictable submissiveness. Second, the alpha's feelings are invalidated by the omega in many ways since the omega gaslights the alpha (spoiler, when the omega went to the hospital and told off the alpha that he didnt have to be bothered, while also making it that the alpha shouldve made an effort—but that's the thing, the author has already established the alpha as a "fool" and someone "childish at age 26".)
This story is just made to make Omegas look good and feel good. It is wholesome in general especially because you do see the Omega love the Alpha in his own way. (on hindsight, it is less violent that omegaverse but it has ambigious consent whenever the omega use his pheromones to challenge the Alpha's instincts. but again, alphas are fools so the Alpha is predictably on his knees.
