When i quit being mother in law, everyone become obsessed with me
Dropped @35 Im actually so immersed into the tidbits of wisdom in here. The first ep drove me crazy coz of her intention to use the child as her shield against her son, but the next chapters were great in terms of confronting child abuse, weidling power over those who speak out of turn, having courage to keep a stance as a child while also showing how difficult it is to do without another adult validating you. Anyway, the FL is an actual strong character. Esp when she's being a mother. (The budding mommy issues is quite heavy in the later chapters, damn)—ive read bits and pieces from the MTL and no proofread chapters and i have to say... maybe it's the translation but maybe it's also because the author hyperfixated on the daughter in law that im losing my interest. like ma'am u just expected your son to forgive u coz he likes his fiancé and his fiancé likes u. the Mag scene was the only nice mother and son happening (maybe it's just because im waiting for chapters that i don't enjoy the pacing lol, it's dragging this tutoring arc too much) ...took her 33 chapters to realize her actual role in this story, but I get it. She was neither a mother nor did she have a good mother role model in both lives. But since she managed to stand her ground against her mom in this life, she is able to confront her own role as a mother as well... @41, end season. Cant help but raise my eyebrow at FL forgetting its the OG body discouraging her son and even when she's informed that it was her words, she doesnt acknowledge it when talking to her son so now it's like she is gaslighting him...like its so ridiculous reading "who said that? Youre making me upset" ...girl, YOUR BODY DID, STOP GASLIGHTING THE KID LIKE HE THINKS THAT WAY BY HIMSELF.
