seeing this manga out of the blue on the same day i was crying over how much i love my guinea pig must’ve been a sign. i can relate to everything the main character goes through, getting your animals called ugly or weird looking. i understand it all, but that doesn’t mean we love them any less, i love my guinea pig no matter how weird or scary looking he is. he saved me. after reading this manga, i grabbed him and told him how much i loved him. i cried to him as if he could hear me and while doing so, he kept licking my hands and my tears away. he usually hates when i pick him up but he was quiet and snuggled against my neck. i love this story, it has so much raw emotion in it and it makes me happy that other people feel the same with their pets. i’m really looking forward for the next volume to come out.
