Wait i heard the ml was an asshole , the way i see it its not true .. he did treat the fl poorly but there was a reason . He divorced her but fact is he loves her dearly but her dad the duke is the villian here . Her wanted the ml i.e the emperor to b his puppet like his father , the late emperor. So he cutt him off by divorcing the love of his life . He was planning to acquire enough power cos he was young . The fl lead to misunderstood n hid his child . But he comes back . I do not think he asshole .. just working his best to be a better emperor and strong enough to protect one's he love
