This is tragedy. They forgot to add the tag. I would not have read it if it said tragedy. DO NOT READ if you dislike unhappy endings that make you cry. This is not a happy ending story: you have been warned.

Nice story of a struggling stright single dad and a sleep-around gay man who end up being right for each other and overcome their issues. The art is, well, not my fave style, but the story is heartwarming.

The first story (and follow-up extra) is my favorite. There's a mixture of humor, suffering/trauma, rescue, and romance that I find absolutely wonderful. The two characters are so different and so right for each other for those differences. The older (uke) guy's story breaks your heart, so the happy ending is that much better. The quirky side characters work, too, having some dark/lightly-cruel moments along with the humor (Tomoko-Sensei's specialty, light with dark). Didn't much care for Chain Gang. Don't like rape in Devil's Thoroughbred, but she sort of redeems it with the violent humor of the hospital visit. It ends up having some complicated as heck relationship/friendship and effed-up seme. But definitely count Stroboscope among my faves for the spaced out, enduring his loneliness and sorrow and fears uke. So happy he got happiness.

I like the twisted personality of the uke, but when it turned to rape, yeah, not so much.
