a story of rescue and finding family kicks off....with a wish and a kiss. This is not an easy BL to read. The younger of the main male characters is a damaged young man--orphaned, either fostered or adopted, currently homeless, not paid for work, treated abominably by patrons (raped, drugged), and treated unkindly by coworkers. But he wants his life to change. Enter a single father, a widower with a cute but uncommunicative little girl who takes a shine to our malnourished, abused young man.

A dark story of a writer pushed into a breakdown after losing career, losing son, and having a worthless wife and oppressive in-laws. On a trip to an island.....things go straight to horrific hell.
