This is CRAZY good.

Poorly structured and only the mildest impact from characters. Meh.

Really interesting fanntasy where tyrannical nobles oppress "peasants," and where they seek Genio, a man skilled in prosthetic repairs/engineering. But Genio's misfit son has a curse that's a gift, too--he can break mechanical things witih a touch. This has caused him to be bullied, isolated, and lose many jobs. But if he's the opposite of his gifted, "fixer" father, that doesn't mean his ability is useless....
