I am hurting for both Penelope rn, shit. Even if they (the family) were brainwashed as some spoilers have said, it still feels unfair for penelope to justify the original's experiences w/ that, is what i genuinely think. Wouldn't be that just like, brushing her horrible years off?? But also, I'm beginning to pity the family. They will need to take blame and bear the consequences of the things they said and did, when they weren't even themselves. I am VERY conflicted, why does this have to be so painful for both side???
