Escape into Oblivion
allow me to begin by saying how well-written these characters are, a lot of phycologicals use shock value as a crutch and fail to write multi dimensional characters. Even though we know woojin is far from being a good person, his thoughts and actions can be understood. There is a twistedness to their love, but it still manages to change and develop throughout the story. This isn't your simple scumbag meets obssesive lover who ends up being more twisted than he though kind of story. They are people and you can tell that both Hwon and Woojin have insecurities about their relationship at first. One might initially seem to think that Hwon is the most vulnerable in the relationship and has the most to lose, due to Woojin's instability, unpredictableness, and speraticness. This would be a false assumption though, Woojin has been in a declining mental state and his entire life has never confronted his issues. He liked being chased but never being caught, and that's exactly what Hwon did. Woojin was used to running away from his problems and letting other people deal with them, this would eventually reach him though. As it is for the sole reason of not wanting hwon to leave that he is finally forced to chase after his future and happiness himself. To be quite honest, I don't think I did the story justice with the description but I won't make this comment longer than it already is for the sake of anyone who come's across it and takes a look.
