Bakashite Damashite

Complete | akabeko | 2021 released

A heartwarming and wholesome story about a guy who's been in an unrequited love for 7 years and a gym instructor who slowly realizes he loves the solemn and lonely man with a precious smile. I loved how it made me sad for Konsuke but was really happy to see him with Honda "Ponta" san and how they just deeply loved each other. I love these kinds of heartwarming stories.

Yukidoke no Koi

Complete | itz | 2015 released

First story was cute and wholesome. Second was light and good. Chapter 7 could really break you! I hate that it happens like that but it's so good! *criers*

Bokura ga Koi wo Ushinau Riyuu

Complete | itz | 2017 released

It's all perfect! The pace, the characters, the heartfelt drama. It's such a peaceful read yet it makes you feel so many kinds of emotions. But the end will always put a smile on your face.

Contrast

Complete | itz | 2018 released

Exceptionally beautiful. I can't express enough the pleasure of reading such a wonderful work of art. The message, the tone, the characters are all so good! The author does such amazing stories and art.

Dear Gene

Complete | Azuma kaya | 2019 released

Finally finished! I keep putting this story on hold when I saw it was finally completed because I don't want it to end, but here we are. Just so heartbreakingly beautiful! The amount of times I keep holding on from crying so hard it makes my heart hurt. From the bottom of my heart I love this so much!!!! Just when I thought I could finally move on to the heart wrenching moments from "The Scene of My Rumspringa", we get a companion story of Gene. This was more beautiful and equally melancholic as its predecessor. The author did such a wonderful, splendid job with her stories because it leaves the readers an overwhelming of feelings. We are left with chapter 5 which is not short for serious cliffhanger, but that episode where we see Trevor's lovely childhood as he cries while remembering it feels like somebody took a blunt spoon and twisted it right through my heart. It was so touching in every sense of the word. I just hope to have the happiest ending with this.

Practiced Liar

Complete | Medamayaki | 2000 released

I wonder how it would turn out in the long run having your lover read your thoughts. It's probably hard to be careful at first but I guess they get used to it? But this story was very sweet and lovely that I just wish for the two of them to be the happiest! I love the concept and most especially the art is beautiful.

Aiou Futari

Complete | NISHIMA Nakamichi | 2022 released

Why they made me cry like that? I feel so happy and delighted for them that it's making me emotional. The concept of sugar mama x sugar baby was kinda bizzare at first but when we started to learn more about how it came to be I was very thankful. I was glad the mom took it upon herself to learn more about his son and to better understand him. For parents in denial, that sure is a huge step. While the mother and son duo had issues within themselves and was resolved through communication and acceptance, Kiego was left on his own by his family. But how these two MC's love, support and care for each other proved that a person can become your family and that's alright. It was such a wonderful and heartwarming read that tugged so deeply in my heart and knowing they have each other made it all satisfying.

Ame to Kiss

Complete | Akihira Shiro | 2000 released

I feel you, Maeda-kun, because we all have insecurities and flaws, it's just that you felt it too deeply that you lacked confidence and trust on your self. It did make me so emotional that I kept holding myself back from crying because this one was really beautiful and heartwarming. I like to think that there is a Yagii-san to our Maeda-kun, and that it will remind us that when we look down on ourselves we hurt the people who love and care for us unconditionally. Now that I think about it, doesn't it just read like a fairytale? There are sparks and flowers and butterflies every time we get to see them both express their love for each other it make us cry happy tears. Also, I love how subtle and simple the art is yet it feels striking. I love it so so so much!

Konosaki wa Futarikiride

Complete | MACHIO Yu | 2019 released

They have the right to be this adorable! These two were the cutest, sweetest and one of the most wholesome couples ever! You can never go wrong with friends to lovers trope because it will always end up happily. The way they understand and care so much for each other makes my heart flutter. Ryusuke already knew in his heart that he loved Haru, it was only until Haru confessed that he realized what he feels is much deeper than friendship. And that's how they started going out with each other. Even this carefree and wholesome story there will be slight misunderstandings along the way, and they talked about it and that's how their love grew. Gosh, my heart can't take to wonderful this cute story is. I seriously want more from these two!

Sore ni Namae o Tsukeru Nara

Complete | AYUKAWA Haru | 2015 released

Now I'm looking forward for their Disneyland trip and Fujita wearing "ear thingies", Sano was too cute for that. I know their relationship started quite weird, Sano being underaged and Fujita suggesting they have sex. But the dynamic and progression of the story, and Sano's internal monologues, you can see how he became more sensible and responsible to match Fujita's manner. As I said about its predecessor, I really liked this kind of art style. It feels nostalgic and laid back. It has a refreshing a light-hearted vibe to it that matches with the character's personalities and storyline very well.
