Chotto Matte yo Hanaya-san
Beautiful art! Overtime you could see how well the art progresses into something more defined and expressive with how their bodies have developed and their faces were pretty striking to look at (and a whole lot of magnificent outlined sexy bodies. lol). The story also took a turn for seriousness. I liked how silly it started with them being quite comedic yet it dives into maturity and reality. It's really nice to see characters grow both physically and mentally that they're growing up right in front of you. I enjoyed how it was still a fun read that sometimes shifts into something delicate.
Super Platonic
Imo, Toraji and Miho had more chemistry together than with Takagi. It's kinda weird he gets jealous of his sister when they were supposed to meet with each other and was potentially going to be canon, but Tagaki kept it a secret to himself and liked being the one admired by the sweet, innocent young man. I wanted to liked it much more because it was wholesome and cute but their relationship wasn't built too strong.
Ai mo Kawarazu
I always find this kind of art and writing to be calming and nostalgic. It's pretty chill and light-hearted.
Sore ni Namae o Tsukeru Nara
Now I'm looking forward for their Disneyland trip and Fujita wearing "ear thingies", Sano was too cute for that. I know their relationship started quite weird, Sano being underaged and Fujita suggesting they have sex. But the dynamic and progression of the story, and Sano's internal monologues, you can see how he became more sensible and responsible to match Fujita's manner. As I said about its predecessor, I really liked this kind of art style. It feels nostalgic and laid back. It has a refreshing a light-hearted vibe to it that matches with the character's personalities and storyline very well.
My Little Inferno
I could really do without that last extra chapter. I don't want to see him with the ex anymore. This story is interesting because we get to see two sides of Maa-kun - his domesticated and comedic side when he's with Hitoshi, and the genius, masterful side with his ex. It shows the complexity the manga has in stored and definitely what you didn't expect from reading the first few chapters and what the blurb has suggested. It was completely so much more. It got me intrigued when we get to the action and conspiracy part of the story because you can't figure out how it would go from there since it took a different turn and it keeps getting edgier. Although the relationship part between Maa-kun and Hitoshi didn't come off with a good start and was super sus, but they both grew on me and I started rooting for them somehow. It was one interesting read for sure.
Home (TSUYUKI Yuruko)
Nice. Pretty sweet and wholesome and great vibes.
Gaman Nante Oyoshinasai
I loved it too bits! There's an obvious age gap for sure but it doesn't feel forced or manipulative. Rather it looked like they were both standing on equal grounds with Ryou being responsible and mature for his age, and Seijirou was a total gentleman (although he couldn't help his thoughts and also wantonly kissed Ryou) and waited until he graduated high school to seriously pursue him. I might be wrong but it was stated Ryou was 20 and Sei was 32 so it wasn't considered underage? Idk. There was sure to be feelings involved if you spend a lot of time together especially in an intimate setting and you both admired each other so it can't be helped. But the way their relationship grew was so cute and special that I was swooning and blushing the whole time! I really want to see more of them and the future that they talked about together. They make me so happy. Note: I know age gap is a whole, bothersome issue, but fr we've seen worse -
My Blissful Marriage
Thank goodness it didn't end in a cliff hanger, rather it stopped on such a beautiful note. I am excited to see their wedding, and lives as a married couple. But more importantly, Kouji deserves so much better! Much better than his family and that annoying Kaya. The last part where he says his goodbyes legit made me tear up because I want a happy ending for him too. Looking forward to its continuation and anime adaptation.
Yamaraashi no Ondo
I honestly thought it could do without the sex because the plot and dynamic was enough to get this two people get along well with each other, also because one is still a minor smh. But it was an interesting story.
