Damn, I want what they have! It feels like the babies are all grown up and moving. It was bittersweet but I am so happy. I didn't expect to really like the story that much since it started out like a gag for the most part, and it reads just a typical yaoi comedy. But the characters were so fun that it feels like I was part of their circle. It doesn't hurt how cute Yohan and Soowa were, and Gyoon nad Jihye were too adorable as well. Even though I feel like my energy drains every time I read them having sex a lot, it doesn't actually feels dirty or too over the top but quite sweet. I love how overly possessive Yohan is to Soowa without going out of bounds. It really shows how much he loves and appreciates him. They truly complement each other. Gaaaah! The story wasn't that grand or something, but it somehow changes you. It was really, really, really, good! <3
Never Understand
The title really says it all, I could never fully understand these characters. Although it started pretty strongly and ended well that it got me hooked, the build up had too much drama and a lot of misundertadings (you could literally read them yelling "It's a misunderstanding" every time something's wrong *sigh) that I feel like it was just thrown there to give depths. I think the author wants to portray different kinds of love story with these different couples but some are just too much or doesn't really make sense to me. I liked the main couple because in the beginning they really had potential with their different outlooks and all that they had overcome so many obstacles together on how personality tops physical appearances, albeit the story took a weird turn, but it made me happy in the end. Then there's the second couple, the childhood friends which I personally liked more, was a cliche storyline and was quite short to my liking but their relationship was so cute and so sweet that I really, really, really wanted more from them. Then the toxic relationships I find of the ex-president x friend, which was a huge question mark because what was really the context and the ending? I need to see more progress. And lastly, my least favorite storyline was the popular guy x fat guy. I hate how shallow they were as characters. Obviously they are more attracted to physical appearances than what they really felt. Even the archer dude thinks it's better not to tell the blonde dude that he was the fat guy in middle school because he doesn't want to be hated and gets left behind. That was pretty frustrating but whatever. Then there's all these meaningless characters who are just as obsessed with looks and popularity that I can't even be bothered to think about. In the end I just wanted to be Joohee, the awesome, unproblematic and strong president who could really see through your bullshit and has a firm principle on her own. She is the only sensible girl in the entire story and she was so amazing. Her character was very well written that I was so happy she wasn't involved with anyone who could dim her light. Initial thought while reading: The slow burn is killing me!
Incorrigible
Ayeon's character took a really big turn for the better! I was really interested in him in the original story but he wasn't given proper closure and how his story ends. I am so glad the author decided to show us more of his raw, vulnerable, sweet side, and future him works in a flower shop with long hair and is so handsome! I always knew he wasn't a bad guy and that he was just easily influenced by his ex-gf, and now he finally manages to stand up for himself and realized his self worth. Didn't expect to make me this more emotional than the first one and it was really good. And finally that smut! So beautiful and intimate and he's such a soft boy I really like him. I'm also surprised we get a cameo of our OG characters and they are doing great too.
If You Hate Me So
Honestly I got invested because the art style was pretty well drawn and the characters' features were really particularly detailed even though the story was full on toxic and has so many rapey vibes that I almost want to drop it. Like the main seme was so bad he could almost kill the uke but all's well that ends well, I guess. To my surprise, the main plot just ended in 20 chapters so I thought what more could there be? And why the side stories are more interesting than the original plot though? It's so random and chaotic I love it. But why is it that the art style just gradually changes? Like almost all the characters got an image revamp and they look like the typical manhwa drawing. The art style change goes from a 10 to 1 real quick, as well as how the story became too mushy and weird yet funny. Anyway, I somehow enjoyed it even though I thought it could not redeem itself from the beginning but glad it ended in a happier note for all the characters.
Make Me Bark
Everybody gets a very happy ending! It's sweetness overload! I loved how it's such a pleasant, no nonsense, drama free story but still give you such a good read. Everything was just great great great! I really liked this one! And don't get me started on the art and coloring, they were all so pretty and I never thought pink and purple palettes looks so good on guys. I wish there were more!
Mania
They rightfully deserved their happy ending! One of the best, intense plot twist kind of story that I've read and really loved! The level of intensity based on everything this has shots up through the roof. I almost had panic attacks and there aren't even too much action scenes, but just the way the story flows gets too deeply in you. You never know what's going to happen and it intrigues you that both these characters are holding on to each other. I love strong yet sensitive and soft uke. He's too fragile yet domineering.
