Realistic and bittersweet. I feel like if you experienced such great loss at a young age, either you grow to be resilient or you stay broken for a very long time. These kinds of stories prove that there are no certainties in the world and whatever you desire in the future can be broken that's why it's always good to live life to the fullest and do things that gives you memories, may it be good or bad. I guess all of us has gone through pain in any way, shape or form and dealing with it takes a lot of time and depends on a person on how long they will hold on to it. In Saku's case, it took him a pretty long time to move on. I was even happy that at the end it shows that he has somebody by his side to share his life with. The part where he opened up about Aki to his new girlfriend and showing her about the ashes was really brave, he even expected he might get dumped. People could take it differently too - jealousy or deep love. I am glad we was able to finally move on, spread the remaining of Aki's ashes to the sky where she will part, and hold on to memories (good and bad) that they have together even though soon he may forget. But in the time being he was respectfully paying homage by going back to his hometown and letting it all go to start anew.

This made me cry!

Heartbreaking!

What is this heaviness I feel in my heart? Why are my eyes crying hot tears? Somehow, I can't accept the end of this story because it was too painful but I know this is how it's supposed to be. Land lady and Matsuura, please be the happiest of all people, you deserve a world full of light, love and happiness. It was too painful and heartbreaking but I like to think they fulfill their wish to be happy forever. T.T

Beautiful masterpiece! Now I wonder how much of history's stories were rewritten.

An honest and poignant portrayal about life. It shows dark and sad moments, but it also shows happy times.

No words but just tears streaming down my face. These two sweet, precious boys. You don't deserve to live a life like that. I can't even bring myself to laugh at some funny scenes because it suddenly hits me that after these happy moments come the saddest. It hurts my heart so much. The epilogue has a Your Name kind of vibe. It was so beautiful when they just recognized each other without knowing one another. I hope the author could make a full story of present Suchae and Gusam.

I was hoping they'd meet again even though I know it has a sad ending. I think I just wanted to feel pain that badly. Only 4 chapters but it sure delivered pretty well. Way to tug on my heartstrings.

This just hits you straight away and you go through with it with no breaks and stops with your heart racing till the end. Quite powerful and a very sad story.
