It's not talked so much but when you've been through emotionally depressing shit, been starved of love, been given false hope every single time and continuously failed to love and be loved to the point of exhaustion, and then suddenly right after that "unconditional kindness and love" has been given to you it just seems surface-level. Hurting people emotionally produces trauma you guys especially when experienced in early childhood. She's so valid for all her feelings and her actions & behavior.
