Stopped at: Chapter 9 Mmm i'm just reading it for the ML and the other mutants because they are so precious and adorable. I dont like how the FL tolerates her dad's abusive and violent behavior at anything that isn't her. Must be great to be his daughter huh since you don't get hit. And just because she favors the ML and gets him "excused" from the abuse and violence from the dad, doesn't mean she's a good person. She's not even doing it bc it's the right thing nor does she do it bc she feels so much against violence but she does it bc it's the ML and she just wants to do it the easy way. I mean I get it, she is physically a child atm and she is the daughter and it's not her job to "raise" or "discipline" her dad. But she can just do it in a tantrum or insisting or bratty way or childish way so that it leaves an impression on her shitty dad since from what I've observed her words and actions do somewhat matter to him. But instead she just forgives and heck, even says sorry to him bc she "hurt" his feelings bc he doesn't listen to him (bc why the heck should she? when he doesn't even listen to her to stop and change his wrong ways). Like what the fuck girl if you soften like that he probably won't take your words seriously and do the more shady stuff behind your back later on in the game. Ugh I really hate her dad the most, a "good" dad but a horrible person. But really how does one become a good dad when you are an abusive and violent person. It doesn't makr any sense. It's not two separate things. You can't be a bad human being but a good parent like what the fuck?? What are you teaching your child then? There's no other answer to it. Both conditions should be met even vice versa. To be a good parent is to be a good person. And a really good person will definitely become a good parent. And her dad's definitely not it. I feel like it's just lazy writing by the author to like invoke a "cute" child-parent relationship element in the story which they failed on delivering. It just pissed me off and triggered me bc there is nothing I loathe in this world more than SHIT FUCK DIRT BAG PARENTS.
