I really love the character growth seen in Sayama. He knows he says harsh things, and at first his solution was to wear a mask and not talk to anyone. Then comes Saikawa who doesn’t mind Sayama’s foul mouth, and even teases him. As Sayama slowly gets to know Saikama, he notices that despite his teasing Saikama is actually very kind. I love that there’s no misunderstanding and that Saikawa comes straight out and says that he likes Sayama. Then through his support Sayama was able to slowly change and start interacting with people.
