this was one of the first yaoi that i ever read. about a guy who is cursed so that whenever he gambles he will always win.

About two aristocrats who make a bet whether the duke can get a young businessman to fall in love with him, includes a couple bonus stories, overall good but there are moments when the art is a little weak.

this one was so good. as usual, sakira always puts some weird shit in so that just when you let your guard down you are suprised by SOME WEIRD SHIT. if you can get past that i guess it is okay. the main story is about a detective who hires a young seme as his assistant. spoiler: they are also a couple.

According to this site, this manga was released in 2000. That would make it a little more OG than hyakujitsu no bara, which has a similar plot. This story is about a prisoner of war who gets special treatment from an officer. Eventually, the officer becomes obsessed and completely delusional and falls in love. Later, the prisoner also falls in love, and it seems like they have moved from a crazy delusional love to the real thing. Maiden rose explores similar themes but has a couple more volumes to do it in. This story was very similar and i think it is valuable to look at it an compare it to newer iterations (such as maiden rose).
