Boys Next Door
this is probably my favorite of all time yaoi. so short and i always cry! The art style is gorgeous. the story is a little superficial despite best efforts. jack the ripper appears as a motif in many of kaori yuki's works. In this story, the main character Adrian portrays a ripper-like serial killer. Incest is another common theme in her works, introduced in this story in a plot twist. This may be because the story was too short to gradually introduce it (see: angel sanctuary). Overall a good read. It is only three chapters so its hard to go wrong.
Ludwig Revolution
A story about a prince who moves through various fairy tales with his manservant, in search of a bride. Of course, Kaori Yuki loves turning fairy tales on their head. The stories are twisted and dark, and most of the girls end up worse off then when they started. Ludwig's style is david bowie glam rock meets fairy tale goth. He wants to have a good time and only cares about looking fabulous. This story is so messed up but a lot of fun to read and re-read!
Long Way Home
yes it has sex in it but this story would be more fittingly categorized under "tragedy" than "yaoi". It is about a deeply in debt now homeless guy who is offered the chance to forgive his debt. In exchange, he has to kick a young male prostitute out of a building he has been squatting in. This is the saddest story. Yui from Night Walk. I gave this three stars since it is a whole lot of emotion for such a short story. It would do better if there were more time to develop it.

multiple stories. the first arabian one was SO CUTE! shounen-ai. The remaining four stories i have seen on this site under their own titles. Ok, most of them are fucked up
Kaine
popstar Kaine gets into a fatal car accident with his brother. Kaine dies, but the brother lives and is forced to pretend to be the deceased pop singer. extra stories also pop-related but not as dark. the art is really fantastic.

category: what the actual fuck about two dudes being bros who are actually brothers and there is a narration about how mutually self-destructive it is
