128 It's getting an anime! But I won't lie, chainsaw man is pretty confusing for me idk how everyone thinks it's an 'easy' read. I don't get confused that easily hence why I read ToG but chainsaw man is just...I gave up tryna understand exactly wtf was going and why The part where Reze met Denji was definitely my favorite, it felt the most natural and most clear. Like an actual manga with a storyline of betrayal and friendship I could follow. The frenemy chemistry was also really good, I'd say better than power and denji as besties cuz their part was just a training arc I'd say. That last arc where denji was basically revived a million times to defeat power and the way he killed her wasn't even explained was so lame and boring wtf. But hey at least kobeni was useful this time, she cracked me up. I actually like part 2 a lot more. The characters are highschoolers and not children in an adults world so it feels like an action school manga. The mc has their own clear purpose this time with a good hearted sidekick. This is what I like to see.

I love it pretty art (pretty girl), amazing facial expressions, yakuza, supernatural japanese demons, and OP MC WOO

holy shit I'm hooked, the main characters never get a break NOOOO IT'S OVER artsyle was amazing, character development and progression was on point, comedic relief was appreciated, deaths were executed perfectly and personally I wasn't unsatisfied about anything In fact I'm extremely grateful for how happy of an ending they got despite their circumstances

got boring after around 30 chapters cuz basically everything that could've happened, happened they might add romance but I already don't like the weird tension between the sister and the mc there's no challenge cuz the mc is too OP and the action isn't that good

5 even the anime got distasteful for me (but s1 is still amazing top 5 anime material)

Ch.57 I like it, not too much to take in and I like the art NOOO THAT CLIFFHANGER IS THE WORST NOW I HAVE TO WAIT MONTHS ok yeah yeah I got invested a little cuz they made a good team and Nikka, the new side character punk guy that used to be bad but became good, is probably my favorite

ch. 47 NOOO I CAUGHT UP JUST AS IT WAS GETTIN INSANELY GOOD if you liked chainsaw man I have a very strong feeling you'd like this

106 I actually got sad when I thought the brother was gonna die but then he got the coolest power up that makes me question why he isnt the mc. Tenza dying still got me tho. I don't know what exactly it is the author did to make me be on the verge of tears every time sensei mentioned he was fighting for Tenza but those chapters near the end with sensei and nurugoi touched my heart. It was the most admirable fight which was the perfect balance to all the "cool" action in this shounen. Fighting all the dieties is so hype. AAAAAAAAAAA EVERYTHING EVERY PART WAS PERFECT AND SO GOOD IN THE SECOND HALF MADE ME TEAR UP SO MANY TIMES AND I LOVE ALL THE MEANINGS AND CONNECTIONS AND REFS AND LESSONS AND DYNAMICS MWAH

Finished it ;-; I'll miss it for sure the art's super ugly-creepy but every 1/20 panels are kinda cool to look at and I like the core idea of the story so Ig Im still reading after the triple h fight (~30) when Jagasaki recenters his desires around bell, manga became a lot more calm which I like. The mc is becoming more pure imo by indulging in things like romance and only fighting to survive but the simultaneous decay of triple h into their cultlike insanity keeps it fun to read. Caught up at 157 and I gotta say after all the heartache, loss, tragedy, suffering, depression, existential crises and such, it's really nice how belle-chan saved jagasaki. It was wholesome and really in character. Sure it seems a little shounen-y but "hero" mc who is in the middle of contemplating his role in the world, his effects of society, if he's good enough, what happiness is etc. vs his girlfriend who has stayed herself since ch.1 coming in with her simplest desire as a reason for him to continue living is a really satisfying solution. I think I'd hate if Jagasaki just came out of winning the fight a worse, more hateful person than before. Now he's white symbolizing purity :) Ending was kind of rushed but Norman was just a good villain and Jagaan had already gone through all his development after him so ig it makes sense.
