first time reading: “so cute, i thought he was worse than sangwoo at first— then he got better— hehe” / me now, years later: when i first read this manhwa years ago, it was one of the first BL stories i had ever read. for that reason, i think it was actually the first BL i had ever read, because my first BL wasn’t technically BL—it was “killing stalking,” which is most definitely not a love story. it’s a psychological horror manhwa. anyways, reading this the second time around as an adult, the plot line is pretty at best, but i think this is one of her first ever works, so that makes sense. i reread this because i just finished reading jinx, and i wanted to see her old style, because it has been a long time since i read this the first time. let me just say, the improvement is insane when it comes to art and storyline. it’s obvious this author likes really toxic tops, and i can appreciate that as an artistic choice. i know that me and this author are in the minority when we say that the toxicity is what makes the storyline entertaining, and these aren’t an accurate representation of what should happen in reality. it is literally just fiction. anywho… i really did enjoy this read. i think it was entertaining, funny at times, and the plot line is half decent.

this is a story i read years ago when it was still unfinished, and i finally came back to finish it—i’m so glad i did. it’s just as heartfelt and fluffy as i remembered, maybe even more. there’s no dramatic twists or huge conflicts, just a gentle, touching story about a deaf man falling in love with someone who sees him for who he is, without pity. i’ve always had a soft spot for stories about characters who are hard of hearing, especially because my mom is hard of hearing, and i feel like they carry such a unique warmth and kindness. this one really hit home for me. the art style isn’t totally my favorite, but the story itself? absolutely adorable. i knew i’d love it, and i totally did.
Love or Hate(Yeongha)
i thought i wouldn’t like this.. only read a bit for the smut but turns out i liked it sm i read all of it
Bottomless Swamp (BookCube Version)
so cute i actually rlly enjoyed everything — that was my original comment and I had originally rated this five stars when I read this the first time a while ago, but now it is completed so I reread it and the art style just got completely destroyed in the later. Chapters and the story was kind of lazy and rushed and there’s no real happy ending. It’s clear the author didn’t really care so that’s kind of annoying.
